Freethinkers Radio LLC is an audiovisual company dedicated to training and job placement in the audiovisual industry. We have identified a shortage of skilled audiovisual technicians in our area, despite the increasing demand for these professionals in venues, organizations, and houses of worship—especially in the post-COVID era, where live streaming has become essential.12
Our mission is to equip young adults, ages 16 to 24, with hands-on training in audio and visual production. Our comprehensive program not only provides technical instruction but also prepares participants for real-world employment. Upon completion, students are placed at one of our partner venues, where they gain further experience while maintaining access to instructors and instructional materials for ongoing support.
Now in its fourth year, our program has successfully trained 24 students and placed seven graduates in employment at various houses of worship, where they continue to work today. Additionally, we have secured an annual contract with Brookland Banquet and Conference Center to employ students from our program.
Through this initiative, Free Thinkers Radio LLC is committed to bridging the skills gap in the audiovisual field while creating meaningful career opportunities for young professionals.
